Teaching

I think teaching has been always a part of my life ever since my father, a celebrated artist in the midwest, taught as a professor of fine arts at Macalester College in St. Paul Minnesota. He pursued multifaceted careers both for additional income and as benefits to his freelance artist career. I feel he did this not only for diversity and viability as an artist but for his own self esteem and for the public eye as well. Looking back on his life I see mine almost as a mirror of his, but in music.
